, California area. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is committed to helping students develop their communication skills and reach their academic and personal goals in a collaborative educational environment.
Position Details
- Location: Los Altos, CA
- Schedule: Full-time (school-based schedule)
- Caseload: Based on experience and district needs (to be discussed during the interview)
- Duration: Current school year, with potential renewal
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy and intervention services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
